1 small onion
1 leek (not necessary)
2 clove of garlic
2 cm fresh ginger root
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp peanut butter
100 ml (coconut) milk or water
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp ground cumin
Pinch of ground mace
Pinch of turmeric
2 tsp sambal oelek
2 tsp parsley
Chop onion, leek, garlic and ginger very small. Bake this in oil.
Add milk and peanut butter and season with the remaining ingredients.
I gave my own twist to this peanut sauce, so add as your taste. delicious with bami or nasi goreng.
